In a powerful gathering at Ikorodu, Lagos, the Grow Ikorodu Movement, led by Aarebirin Hon. Princess (Dr) Folashade Olabanji-Oba, reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to grassroots development and national progress. Standing before a distinguished audience of press members, party leaders, and stakeholders, Princess Olabanji-Oba expressed deep gratitude and renewed hope for the future. She applauded the resilience of the people of Ikorodu and Nigeria at large, celebrating the unwavering dedication of the movement’s members.The highlight of the conference was the resounding endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term. Emphasizing Tinubu’s transformative leadership, Princess Olabanji-Oba detailed key achievements under his administration, including economic advancements, infrastructural development, and social empowerment programs. She highlighted successes such as debt reduction, trade surplus, and the much-celebrated increase in workers’ wages, reinforcing the argument that Tinubu’s leadership has steered Nigeria onto a path of greatness.Despite political challenges, the movement pledged allegiance to the All Progressives Congress (APC), vowing to champion grassroots development and uphold the vision of the party. With an energized spirit, the Grow Ikorodu Movement called on all supporters to remain steadfast, work tirelessly, and prepare for the 2027 elections, ensuring continued progress for Ikorodu and Nigeria.As the conference came to a close, Princess Olabanji-Oba issued a rallying cry: “Nigeria is rising again. Lagos is glowing again. Ikorodu is growing again. This is our time. This is our Nigeria.”
