Honourable Abdukudus Isah, a hopeful for the Federal House of Representatives in Owan Constituency for the 2027 general elections, has extended warm congratulations to Muslims across Owan as they commence the sacred month of Ramadan.
In his goodwill message on Thursday morning, Isah described Ramadan as a special season of deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and renewed devotion to God. He encouraged the Muslim faithful to remain steadfast in prayer, uphold the values of discipline and compassion, and rely wholly on God in all their endeavors.
“Ramadan is a time to draw closer to the Almighty, to seek His guidance, and to strengthen our bonds as a community,” he said. “I urge our Muslim brothers and sisters in Owan to remain steadfast and trust in God in all they do.”
He further prayed that the holy month would usher in everlasting peace, joy, and grace to Owan land in particular and Nigeria at large. According to him, the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan offers a unique opportunity for collective prayers for unity, progress, and development.
Meanwhile, the federal lawmaker hopeful used the opportunity to call on all eligible voters in Owan who are yet to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to do so without delay. He described the PVC as a vital instrument for civic participation and the most powerful tool for shaping the political future of the constituency and the nation.
“The PVC is the weapon with which we will fight the political battle ahead,” he noted, emphasizing the importance of active participation in the democratic process.
Isah also urged the good people of Owan to use the Ramadan period as a special time to seek God’s face for victory for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in all elective positions in the forthcoming elections — from councillorship seats to the presidency.
He concluded by wishing Muslims a spiritually fulfilling Ramadan and expressing optimism that the prayers offered during the holy month would yield positive transformation for Owan and Nigeria as a whole.
