As political alignments intensify ahead of the 2027 Lagos State gubernatorial election, a prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholder, Hon. Zansi Omolara Samuel, has congratulated veteran politician Senator Musiliu Obanikoro on his appointment as the Director-General of the Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat Campaign Organization.
In a press statement made available to journalists on Friday, Hon. Zansi described the choice of the former Minister and seasoned lawmaker as a “masterstroke” that has effectively boosted Dr. Hamzat’s gubernatorial project.
According to her, Senator Obanikoro’s entry into the frontline brings an unparalleled wealth of political experience, strategic leadership, and grassroots mobilization capacity capable of securing a landslide victory for the APC candidate.
Expressing absolute confidence in Obanikoro’s ability to deliver on the mandate, Hon. Zansi noted that his deep-rooted connection with Lagosians across all strata makes him the perfect fit to steer the campaign ship.
”Senator Obanikoro is a grassroots general with a track record of public service. His leadership will not only unify diverse interests within our great party but will also galvanize voters across the 20 Local Governments and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) of Lagos State,” she stated.
