Member, House of Representatives, representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, Hon. James Faleke, along with stakeholders in the Ikeja Constituency made history as the first Constituency to organized prayer section for the National Leaders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The prayer was organized by a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Ikeja Constituency in Lagos, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, who led some of his constituents to offer prayers for Tinubu towards realising his dream of becoming the president of the country through the 2023 general elections.

The prayer, which held at the Blue Roof, LTV 8, Lagos was witnessed by the likes of the APC chairman in Ikeja, Alhaji Adekunle Dally Adeokun, Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Engr. (Dr.) Mojeed Balogun, his Onigbongbo counterpart, Hon. Dotun Olakunle and other bigwigs in the local government.

Christian and Muslim clerics, who offered prayers at the event, prayed for God’s guidance for Asiwaju Tinubu, who declared his intention for the office on Monday January 10 during his visit to President Muhammadu Buhari in Aso Rock.
Faleke described Tinubu’s decision to run for the exalted office as a welcome development.
The clerics prayed for good health, and against every unnatural incident “as our leader takes bold steps to lead the country.”
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was described as the most capable hand, who they said would use his wealth of experience to direct and save the sinking ship of the country, considering the transformation that took place from 1999 to 2007 when he was the governor of Lagos.
Chieftains of the party from the constituency expressed hope and belief that members of the party in the constituency would give necessary support to Asiwaju Tinubu, saying that they would leave no stone unturned in ensuring that he gets massive support throughout the country.
According to them, Tinubu is a unifying factor that does not discriminate about which part of the country anyone is from.
They added that he needed the support of everybody to realise his dreams.
It will be recalled that barely 24 hours after Tinubu announced his intention to contest the presidential election, the Governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi also declared his intention to join the race on Tuesday.
Umahi disclosed his intention to journalists after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in Aso Rock.
Following the formal declaration of Tinubu and Umahi, the Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, boasted that he would match the formal Lagos governor grit-for-grit for the ticket of the APC.
Although the convention of the APC is slated for February, the party is yet to select a date for the event.
Fingers are however, crossed over who the party will pick as its presidential candidate in the forthcoming general elections next year.
