The family of 17-year-old Amdi Ayomide has made a passionate appeal to the public for urgent financial support to help him continue life-saving treatment for Osteogenic Sarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer.

Ayomide is currently receiving care at a private hospital in Ogun State, where medical experts have confirmed his diagnosis and commenced chemotherapy. According to the medical report, doctors have recommended an intensive treatment plan involving chemotherapy followed by surgery, stressing that prompt intervention is crucial to save his life and prevent further complications.
The total cost of treatment is estimated at ₦12.3 million, comprising ₦2.8 million for chemotherapy and ₦9.5 million for surgery—an amount the family says is far beyond their means. Health professionals have warned that any delay could lead to the spread of the cancer, potentially resulting in the loss of his limb or even his life.
Instead of focusing on his education and dreams for the future, the teenager is confined to a hospital bed as his family races against time to raise the needed funds.
The family is therefore calling on compassionate Nigerians, corporate bodies, philanthropists, and charitable organisations to come to Ayomide’s aid and help give him a fighting chance at recovery.
