The Adele Olu of Ilaro, High Chief Abiodun Olalekan Ilo, has commended the revitalized League of Yewa-Awori Media Practitioners (LOYAMP) for stepping up at a crucial time to champion the collective interests of Ogun West.
In a recent online interview with Abu-Satar Hamed of StarTrend International Magazine, the US-based traditional leader expressed admiration for the quality and consistency of publications from LOYAMP members. He particularly noted their coverage of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) and other developmental efforts across the region.
High Chief Ilo urged the group to maintain its momentum by promoting the aspirations of Senator Adeola Yayi alongside other distinguished sons and daughters of Ogun West, stressing that balanced representation is key to achieving the region’s broader goals.
He cautioned LOYAMP against publishing content that could compromise its credibility, emphasizing the importance of integrity in journalism.
Expressing confidence in the association’s leadership, Chief Ilo highlighted the influence of its National Coordinator, Otunba Abu-Satar Idowu Hamed, whom he described as a veteran journalist of great repute. According to him, LOYAMP’s revival has given Ogun West a strong and dedicated Fourth Estate of the Realm.
The Adele Olu of Ilaro further called on indigenes and residents of Ogun West, as well as the wider Ogun State and Nigeria, to support LOYAMP so the organization can continue to serve both the region and the nation effectively.
