According to Mrs Orevaoghene Atanya, Head, Sustainability, Lagos Business School, “the programme curriculum is anchored on Solutions Journalism and is delivered by facilitators from academia, industry and journalism. The sessions also cover key journalism skill gaps like research, data-based reporting, writing, data analytics, and presentation. By participating, journalists get the know-how and expertise to develop compelling stories, editorials, news video features, documentaries, and podcasts to help promote far-reaching awareness of the
issues around nutrition, wellness, environmental conservation, climate change and corporate sustainability.”

145 applications have been sent in since the call for entries opened on May 19 for the 2023 programme by journalists interested in reporting on nutrition, health, the environment and sustainability.
